Zero-Tolerance Behaviour Policy We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behaviour. This includes, but is not limited to:
Sexual solicitation, innuendo, or suggestive remarks.
Inappropriate, sexualised, or unwelcome touching or gestures.
Harassment, threatening, aggressive, or otherwise disrespectful communication.
Any breach of this policy will result in:
Immediate termination of the session without refund.
Permanent prohibition from booking future services.
Where appropriate, notification of law enforcement or other authorities.
Client Responsibilities and Conduct
Draping: Professional draping is mandatory for the entirety of any treatment and cannot be waived.
Health Information: New clients must complete a health intake form prior to their first appointment and update the practitioner of any relevant changes to health status. Identification may be requested to verify client records where required.
Right to Refuse or Terminate Care: The practitioner reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time, for any reason, including concerns about safety, client conduct, or contraindications to therapy.
Booking, Payment, and Cancellation
Bookings: All appointments must be made through our official booking channels.
Cancellation and Late Changes: Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours (or alternative timeframe as stated at booking) may incur a cancellation fee equal to a portion of the service fee or the full session fee, depending on notice period and circumstance. Specific cancellation terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Termination for Misconduct: If a session is ended because of a client’s breach of the Zero-Tolerance Behaviour Policy, no refund will be provided.
Professional Boundaries and Safety
Professional Relationship: By booking, you acknowledge that the practitioner–client relationship is strictly professional and therapeutic.
Privacy and Communication: All communications should be respectful and relevant to bookings or treatment. Any attempts to breach professional boundaries (including persistent personal contact outside of professional contexts) will result in being blocked across communication channels and may be formally reported.
Practitioner Safety: The practitioner’s safety and comfort are paramount. The practitioner may cease treatment and take any necessary steps to ensure safety, including contacting authorities.
Liability and Health Considerations
Medical Advice: Treatments are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Clients should consult their GP or appropriate healthcare professional for medical concerns. The practitioner will work within their scope of training and the information provided by the client.
Informed Consent: By receiving treatment, the client consents to therapeutic bodywork as discussed during consultation and accepts responsibility for disclosing relevant health information that could affect treatment.
Amendments These Terms of Service may be updated periodically. Clients will be subject to the terms in effect at the time of their booking.
Acknowledgement By booking an appointment with In Alex Hands, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms of Service.
